ESL Classes

Our ESL program targets students of all English language proficiency abilities.  Our English Language Program is accredited as a Post-Secondary, non-degree granting program by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, one of seven regional accrediting agencies for educational institutions in the United States.

Our ESL program uses the proven communicative approach to language learning.  This approach makes for lively, interactive classes where students engage in a wide range of activities using multiple methods of learning.  Our Part-time classes are offered in the mornings, afternoons or evenings.  Classes are held Monday through Friday in Rutherford, New Jersey.

A state certified English placement test is administered prior to placement in the program.  This test determines a student’s reading, writing, listening and speaking abilities to evaluate each student’s appropriate level while serving a a base line to measure progress throughout the program.

Classes include structure/ speaking practice, reading/writing, conversational / grammatical instruction and critical reading.   We also train students in the cultural diversity of American life.  Our target clientele are businessmen and women, new immigrants to the United States, and any person who is interested in enhancing his/her knowledge of the English Language.
